Meet Kate

Growing up with a background in Circus Arts, Kate has had a fascination with how the body works from a young age. She was always curious about how her body was able to support her in the air and on the ground. Receiving a session of Craniosacral Therapy in 2020 in the height of the pandemic planted a seed of inspiration that took a while to root, but that Kate now waters relentlessly.  Her life long love of learning, but difficulty in traditional classrooms lead her to many different paths that never felt quite right. Through being a teaching assistant in a kindergarten, to being a farm hand, to learning to weld, it always seemed like the universe was pushing her towards massage and bodywork. 

 A recent graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA, Kate took her education as an opportunity to act like a sponge and learn as much as she possibly could about anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and all of the techniques that make a massage great.

 ​Now, a licensed massage therapist in the state of Rhode Island, Kate hopes to ​​bring her natural curiosity and caring personality to help clients feel more present in their care and their bodies. She continues her love of learning through taking classes with the Upledger Institute on Craniosacral therapy.
